Location
I offer sessions in Finsbury Park, five minutes walk from the station.
Session frequency and length of sessions
I see people once or twice a week. The length of sessions varies, as it can be beneficial to end a session at an appropriate moment: they may be shorter when a pause is needed to underline or stress something important; or longer to allow a particular line of thought or associations to be elaborated. On average they may tend to be between thirty minutes and an hour, though this varies. The duration of the work will also vary. Usually the work is open ended. In some instances it can be helpful to set an end date in advance.
Fees
The fee is an important part of the work of therapy and psychoanalysis. I am committed to making this work available to those on low or no income, as well as those who are financially solvent. If, following a preliminary session, we decide to work together, we will agree a fee that should be both meaningful and affordable.
Cancelled sessions
If you are unable to attend with less than 3 days notice I will try to offer an alternative time, but if an alternative can't be found you will be charged for the missed session.
Code of conduct and confidentiality
As a trainee member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), I abide by their code of ethics and professional practice, which can be found here. Any information you share with me will be treated with deepest respect and confidentiality. I may discuss the work, where appropriate, in the context of clinical supervision and in the interest of best practice. If I do this I will ensure that you are not identifiable in any way.

My approach is sensitive to the ways political, economic, cultural and linguistic contexts, including harmful social expectations of gender, class, nationality, ethnicity, health, work, sexuality and the body, affect each of our experience.
